Orientation Days for Healthcare MSc Students

Master of healthcare management program second orientation day for new students.
Under the supervision of the dean of the faculty of business administration, the orientation program
activities actively continued for the second day in a raw to guide the first batch of students, which
started at 9:00 am with an interactive lecture on Interpersonal Communication skills conducted by Mr. Abdulgader Ettaib and lasted for two hours. This was followed by a short break for the students.
Afterwards, Ms. Noha Al- Arram talked about the importance of technology in the healthcare systems.
To conclude the day, the university advisor for quality and governance affairs in higher education, Dr. Khabab Abdel Moneim, titled the health system from a global perspective, and sustainable development
goals lasted for a full hour.

The students’ reactions and impressions of the second introductory day were also positive, which was
noted through the points of view they expressed at the conclusion of the activities.

MSc Interviews for HealthCare Management Students

Under the supervision and implementation of the Faculty of Business Administration, and in the presence of Mr. Dean of the Faculty of business, Dr. Sabry Gibran, and ensuring the plan of the Libyan International University of Medical Sciences in the Vlog of the Higher Studies Project, the morning of Saturday, December 10, 2022, the personal interviews for the students of Majest began Sees the Health Department The program comes within partnership agreements with the EU supporting health institutions in Libya, and the scientific programme has seen a huge turnout from students willing to complete their master studies in this vital field. The study will begin next week through the preliminary week to introduce students to the program, its regulations, contents, teaching methods, learning and calendar that will be applied in this scientific program.

THE SAHA project training week in university of Pavia Co-funded by Erasmus + Programme of the European Union

On Monday, 19th of September / 2022, a training-week for SAHA PROJECT was held at the University of Pavia in Italy (https://web-en.unipv.it/https://www.uni-med.net/progetti/saha/https://erasmus-plus.ec.europa.eu/ ).

Six Libyan universities participated in this project namely: Libyan International Medical University, University of Tripoli, University of Misurata, University of Sebha, University of Al-Zawiya, and University of Sirte. This visit is the second of its kind this year within the framework of the European Union’s support to Libyan universities to raise the level of higher education sector in healthcare management.

After completion of the training programme, a postgraduate study in Healthcare Management at all participated Universities is expected to be launched before the end of December / 2022.

Orientation Week for New Students at the Faculty of Business Administration

During the past two days, the Faculty of Business Administration organized various events for its new students to familiarize them with the university. Among them includes its rules and regulations, the study system at the faculty, the date of its establishment, the available majors, and how to optimally use the university’s e-curriculum system (Moodle) and what it includes from discussion forums, educational activities and exams, as well as various distance learning programmes.
This orientation week comes to prepare students to enhance their abilities and skills to enter the educational process, and to support their eagerness and interest in their time and future.

The Faculty of Business Administration Discusses the Graduation Projects of its Students

Yesterday morning, the Faculty of Business Administration organized sessions to discuss the graduation projects of the first batch of students (2020-2021). The discussion dealt with projects submitted by each of the students : (*) Anas Al-Kish from the Marketing Department and his project entitled: “The Role of Social Media in Sports Marketing” (*) Anas Al-Jahani from the Marketing Department and his project entitled: The Impact of the Covid-19 Pandemic on Marketing Using Social Media in Benghazi” (*) Hamdi Bin Qadara from the Marketing Department and his project entitled: “The Orientation towards Leadership among Libyan Youth: The Case of Cafes” It is of note that the discussions were conducted in adherence to precautionary measures to combat and confront the spread of the emerging COVID-19 virus

Faculty of Business Administration and Student Academic Advising Program

This morning, the Faculty of Business Administration organized a session during which several faculty members gave short presentations, aimed at guiding students academically, introducing them to the five majors that the faculty includes and the nature of those careers after graduation.
It is of note that academic advising is a process that aims to help the student discover their abilities and potentials, to assist them in making decisions related to their study plan, and to choose the appropriate type of academic major, and to help them overcome the difficulties that may encounter during their academic path.

The Libyan International Medical University with its various faculties depend on a group of academic advisors to guide students before they choose their major, and ultimately being accepted in their desired university major. These groups furthermore provide many services to students, such as assisting them in defining their academic goals, drawing their plans, and choosing appropriate courses for their academic and professional aspirations.

Completion of Students’ Two-weeks Training Course in the National Commercial Bank – Benghazi City

To develop the skills of Faculty of Business graduates at Libyan International University, and within the strategies of cooperation with institutions and organizations in the surrounded community, a two-weeks training programme for the students were organized with the National Commercial Bank. A group of 21 students has participated and successfully completed their training programme. Another group will start the training for two weeks. On this occasion, the Faculty of Business Administration at Libyan International Medical University would like to extend its thanks and gratitude to the Commercial Bank for such cooperation with the students. The faculty also does not forget to thank everyone who contributed to the success of this training course, especially Mr. Tayseer Al-Qamati for the unlimited support to the faculty.
